Introduction

This PCI card provides eight Time to Digital Converter (TDC) channels based on the LVPECL logic technology, sampling at the maximum rate of 2.5 GHz.

Characteristics

  • Stores up to 64 million hit-times
  • Resolution of 0.4 ns
  • Average event rates from 500 kHz up to 5 MHz
  • Peak event rate of 1.25 Gevents/s/channel
  • On-board digital signal processing by a DSP and FPGA
