How to change your password

    To modify your metis password used on the following services:

    • SVN (Tortoise)
    • Wiki (Mindtouch Dekiwiki)
    • Issue Tracker (Redmine)

     

    1. click on Password Self Service
    2. login with your current password
    3. choose Change Password on the main menu
    4. type your new password
    5. click the Change Password button.

     

    If you must write it down, be sure to keep it in a safe place.

    Your new password must meet the following requirements:

    Password is case sensitive.
    Must be at least 6 characters long.
    Must not include any of the following values: password test
    Must not include part of your name or username.
    Must not include a common word or commonly used sequence of characters.
    Must have at least three types of the following characters:
    Uppercase (A-Z)
    Lowercase (a-z)
    Number (0-9)
    Symbol (!, #, $, etc.)


    If you forgot the old password, send me an email to setup a default password (must change it afterwards).

    The "Forgotten Password" button on the main page is not working currently.
